A practical, step-by-step guide for talents and sponsors to complete your Observation-Based Assessment (OBA) with Lance — GloCoach's AI interview consultant.
Lance is GloCoach's AI-powered mobile app that conducts structured leadership interviews with your talents — at their own pace, in their own time.
The Observation-Based Assessment (OBA) is the core unit of the program. Each OBA profiles one talent using 360° input from the talent themselves plus their sponsors — typically a leader, peers, and a direct report.
Lance replaces traditional consultant-led interviews with an AI conversation that is fast, consistent, unbiased, and multi-lingual — giving you enterprise-grade leadership intelligence that used to take months, in weeks.
Reports are generated automatically once interviews are submitted: Personal Discovery (PD) for talents, Talent Builder Matrix (TBM) for sponsors, and a consolidated Executive Summary for the client.
Five simple steps from invitation email to final report. You can complete each interview in one sitting, or pause and resume later.
Open the invitation email on your mobile and click the link, or search "GloCoach" in the App Store or Play Store.
Log in with your work email and OTP. Set up, commence, and complete the conversation with Lance.
Review the AI-generated summary at the end. Edit anything that doesn't reflect your intent.
Once you hit submit, the interview is locked in. Status changes to "Complete" on your home screen.
Access your report in the app and download your OBA completion certificate.

Your preparation depends on whether you're the talent being assessed, or a sponsor observing a talent. Both roles use the same Lance app.
